TEN DAYS IN THAILAND

ON THE 26/2/08 WE AND TWO OTHER COUPLES,CHRIS & GRACE,GEOFF & JOANNE BOARDED THAI AIR BOUND FOR BANGKOK & THEN ONTO PHUKET.



WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD,CLIMATE PERFECT,THAI FOOD & CULTURE A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE.



A ONE DAY ELEPHANT TREK IN A SPECTACULAR JUNGLE VALLEY SURROUNDED BY LIMESTONE CLIFFS & MOUNTAINS OF THE NATIONAL PARK & THEN A JUNGLE RIVER CANOE TRIP ON THE SOK RIVER WAS AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE.






A SPEED BOAT RIDE TO PHI PHI ISLAND MAYA BAY & KOH KHAI WAS ANOTHER DAY HAD, EXPLORING THE BREATH TAKING LANDSCAPE OF MAYA BAY,SNORKELLING IN THE CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER ABOVE THE CORAL GARDENS OF RUNTEE & LOH SAMAH BAYS, FEEDING THE MONKEYS AT "MONKEY" BEACH,TOPPED OFF WITH A TRADITIONAL THAI LUNCH.






ANOTHER DAY ON A TRADITIONAL LONG BOAT TO A GYPSY FISHING VILLAGE THEN CANOEING THROUGH THE MANGROVES & CAVES OF HONG ISLAND.






DINNER & A WALK THROUGH PATONG ON OUR LAST NIGHT WAS AN EVEN GREATER EXPERIENCE WITH IT'S BUSTLING MARKETS, GIRLIE BARS & GENERAL SLEAZE.






OUR TEN DAYS WAS AN ACTION PACKED ADVENTURE!
