Yes it's another good cause being undertaken! I'm helping to "warm the globe"?
I've entered myself in a Sydney radio station's annual "knit in"!
I need to knit as many squares as possible over the next few weeks,each square must be 25 cm in length with 50 stitches in total ,8 ply wool & 4mm needles and only "plain" knitting is required then at the end of the month I need to send them to one of the "drop off" points in Sydney,then on 1st. August the squares will be sewn together & made into blanket size rugs,these rugs will then be distributed through out Australia and o.s.
To date I've only knitted 2? better get a hurry on!......or who will be the "Knit Wit"!
A helping hand is a helpful hand....now where have I heard that saying?
